After the final scene, Danny sit's down at the kitchen table with Marc and Caleb, a fresh cup of coffee in hand.
Danny: Um dude. The chapter's done. You can stop typing now.
Caleb and Marc shrug their shoulders and grab two glasses from the cabinet as Danny takes another sip from the steaming cup.
Caleb: Is he gonna keep typing?
Marc: He's done stranger things.
Sharing a giggle, Caleb grabs a bottle of soda from the fridge while Marc pulls out a bowl of tuna salad. Danny takes another sip from his coffee.
Danny: Ok dude, that's getting annoying! You can cut it out anytime now!
Marc: Just ignore him bro. He'll get bored and go find something else to do.
Just then, Noah and Jerry enter the room and stop suddenly. Looking around with confused expressions they both shrug their shoulders and take a seat at the table for the lunch Marc is preparing.
Noah: How long has he been doing that?
Marc: Since the chapter ended. Just ignore him. You guys want a sandwich?
After accepting the offer of the peanut butter and jelly... Marc: Tuna, Dufus! ...the TUNA sandwiches, Caleb grabs the bottle of soda back out of the fridge and pours each of the additional boys a glass. Suddenly, Joey runs into the kitchen.
Joey: Daddy? Why is Unca Jeff sdiww wwidin?
Jerry: I'm not sure. JEFF! ARE YOU FEELING OK?
After receiving no response, Jerry looks at his son and shrugs his shoulders. Marc continues to make a feast of Ham and Cheese... Everyone: TUNA!!!! ...tuna sandwiches for the group while Danny simply stares in the direction of the author, attempting to get his attention by waving at him. Noticing the author is actually watching, he begins to wave even harder and... begins giving the "Cut" signal by putting his finger on one side of his throat and then dragging it to the other side. Realizing this signal is being ignored, Danny (Being the child that he sometimes can be) begins making rude gestures in the direction of the author. What a baby.
Danny: Oh COME ON! That's enough already!
Noah: *Whispers to Caleb* Is Jeff laughing?
Caleb: I think so.
Having made lunch for everyone in the house, Marc rubs Danny's shoulder before sitting down and taking a large bite of his turkey sandwich. Marc: I made... Oh, forget it. Danny becoming frustrated, as he sometimes does for absolutely no reason at all; jumps up out of his seat and rushes over to the author. With a pounce, he grabsdfghjkl;
Danny: HAH! I got your keyboard! And what!?! Hahaha!
Being the bright android that he is, Danny once again foils his own evil plot by grabbing a wireless keyboard from the author. As the author continues to type using the keyboard built into the laptop he does ALL his writing with, Danny tries to type gibberish using the keyboard to mess up what the author is typing. Never once looking at the USB cable the author unplugged, anticipating his childish retaliation.
Noah: He's got you there man. Marc, can I have another sandwich?
Joey: Me doo! Pwease!
After placing the now useless keyboard on the floor at his feet, Danny takes a bi... Holds his sandwi... takes a bi... Begins playing more childish games, this time with his food.
Joey: Unca Danny! You'we nod suposed do pway widh youw food!
Caleb: Yeah Danny. *Giggle* Where are your manners?
Danny: Oh shaddap Cal!
Once again, a childish outburst from the main character in the story.
Danny: That's it! I'm going to go eat out on the beach!
Danny says as he grabs his sandwich and coffee off the table in a temper tantrum and storms out of the room, through the living room and... slamming the sliding glass door on his way out.
Marc: Dude, you really got him mad that time.
Jeff: He'll get over it. Besides, since he's been out of the last couple of chapters he's been doing nothing but playing pranks on me.
Caleb: Really? Ohmigod... Is that your truck out in the driveway with the shaving cream all over it?
Jeff: Yup.
Danny: HAH! Gotcha!!! I was standing in the living room the whole time! You think the shaving cream is bad? Wait til you look inside!

Danny: *Rolls Eyes* He just doesn't know when to quit...
